Basket and quantity: avoid mistakes
The basket is the step where you confirm what you are about to buy: how many tickets, for what date, at what price. This is also where most small errors occur, such as one ticket too many or a quantity misread. Good news: everything is corrected before paying. This guide shows you how to choose the right quantity, understand the limited duration of the basket and check your order with peace of mind.
What is the basket for?
The basket collects your places before payment. It displays the 'T0' number of tickets 'T1', the 'T2' category 'T3', the 'T4' date 'T5' and the 'T6' total 'T7' to be paid, including any fees. Until you have paid, nothing is final: you can change the quantity, withdraw a ticket or start again. See the shopping cart as a final check before checking out, not as a firm commitment.
Manage your basket well, step by step
- 1
Choose the right quantity of tickets
Count the people who come, including you. This is the most common mistake: one ticket too many or one ticket too few.
- 2
Check date and category
Make sure the cart is for the right session and location, especially if the event has multiple dates.
- 3
Check the details of the total
Look at the price per ticket, any fees and the total. The final total should be clear before continuing.
- 4
Edit if necessary
You can adjust the quantity or remove a place until you have paid. Nothing is set in stone at this stage.
- 5
Watch the countdown
If there is one, finalize it without delay. If the time expires, simply start the selection again, without worrying.
Shopping cart pitfalls (and how to avoid them)
| Trap | What is happening | The parade |
|---|---|---|
| One ticket too many | Default quantity does not match your group | Recount and adjust the number before paying |
| Bad date | Multiple sessions exist for the same event | Check the day and time displayed in the cart |
| Charges discovered late | The total climbs at the payment stage | Read the details of the total from the basket summary |
| Cart expired | Places go on sale again after the deadline | Repeat the selection; no amount is taken |
The details of the order are normally visible in the basket, before the payment stage.
The 5-point check before paying
- The 'T0' number of 'T1' tickets corresponds exactly to your group.
- The date and time are the correct ones.
- The 'T0' category or 'T1' zone is the one you wanted.
- The total 'T0' to pay 'T1', including fees, is clear and suits you.
- No unwanted option (insurance, supplement) has been added by default.
My basket has expired, what should I do?
This has no consequences: no amount is taken until the payment is validated. Simply return to the event page and select your seats again. If the event is in high demand, availability may have changed in the meantime, but this is rarely a problem. Calmly resume the selection: an expired basket is only a provisional reservation which has ended.
