Receive your e-ticket: where to find it
You have paid, the order is confirmed… but where is your ticket hidden? This is a very common question, and the answer is reassuring: an e-ticket almost always arrives in the same place, by email and in your account. Here, calmly, are the three places to look for it, the usual time to expect and the first actions if nothing appears right away.
The three places to look first
After an online purchase, your e-ticket is almost always in one of these three places. Start with the first, it's the quickest in the majority of cases.
Where to watch, in order
- Your email box — a confirmation message contains the ticket, either as a PDF attachment or via a “Download my ticket” button.
- Your customer area — on the site where you purchased, a section such as “My orders” or “My tickets” generally allows you to find and redownload the ticket.
- The mobile application — if the platform offers one, the ticket often appears there automatically once connected with the same account.
Find your e-ticket step by step
- 1
Open the confirmation email
Look for a message received right after payment, often titled “Order Confirmation” or “Your Ticket.” It comes from the platform or the organizer.
- 2
Locate the ticket in the message
The ticket is either attached as a PDF or accessible via a button or link. Avoid looking for the QR code in the body of the email: it is most often found in the linked file or page.
- 3
Download and save the file
Open the PDF and save it to your phone. You will have it at hand even without connection on the day of the event.
- 4
Check the information
Check the event name, date, time and, if applicable, placement. If there is a discrepancy with your order, contact customer service immediately.
The ticket doesn't appear right away?
If the email is delayed, don't panic: in the vast majority of cases, the ticket has simply gone unnoticed or is not yet available. A few checks are usually enough to find it.
First reflexes
- Check the Spam/Junk mail folders and the Promotions tab of your email.
- Search your box for the name of the event or platform.
- Connect to your customer area : the ticket is often available there even when the email is late.
- Check that the email address used during the purchase is yours, without any typos.
