Ticket not received: where to look and what to do
Your payment has gone through, but your ticket has not arrived in your mailbox? Don't panic: in the vast majority of cases, the ticket is there, just not where you expected it. This guide shows you, step by step, where to look, what to check, and what to do if nothing really appears. Follow it calmly, everything should be fine.
First of all: don’t buy a ticket again
The first reflex to avoid is to buy a ticket “just in case”. If your first order has been validated, you risk paying twice. Instead, start by methodically checking the places where your ticket may have arrived. In almost all cases, it is recoverable without a new purchase.
Checks to be done in order
- 1
Check your spam
Spam, promotions, notifications: your e-ticket or confirmation is sometimes found there.
- 2
Search with the right keyword
Type the name of the event or ticket office into your email search.
- 3
Log in to your account
The “My tickets” or “My orders” section often allows you to download the ticket directly.
- 4
Check the email address used
Make sure the email you enter during purchase is yours, with no typos.
- 5
Wait a short while
Depending on the platform, it may take a few minutes for the ticket to be sent after payment.
The most common reasons
- The post fell into the junk mails.
- There was a 'T0' typo 'T1' in the email address.
- The ticket is available in the customer account , without a separate email.
- The 'T0' sending is deferred to 'T1' depending on the conditions of the event.
- The messaging filtered the message or delayed in delivering it.
If the ticket still does not appear
Have you checked everything and the ticket cannot be found? It's time to contact the ticket office. Contact the site on which you purchased, indicating your order number, the email address used and the date of payment. The more specific your request, the quicker the response will be. Also keep proof of your payment, it can be useful.
Keep calm until the big day
If the event is not happening right away, you have time to resolve the situation calmly. Most ticket offices will resend or regenerate a ticket when needed. Simply avoid waiting until the last minute: start your checks as soon as you notice the ticket is missing, to approach the big day with peace of mind.
