Gift card and voucher: use them

Have you received a gift card or voucher to use on a ticket? Good news: it's one of the simplest payments there is. Most often, you just need to enter a code in the right place for the amount to be deducted from the total. In this guide, we show you where to find this field, how the code applies to your order, and what to do in the rare case that it gets stuck. No technical skills required: we move forward step by step, quietly.

Gift card, voucher: what are we talking about?

A 'T0' gift card 'T1' is a pre-loaded amount, offered or purchased in advance, that you use to pay for all or part of an order. A 'T2' voucher 'T3' (or promotional code) works in a similar way: it is a code which reduces the total, either by a fixed amount or by a defined benefit. In both cases, the principle is the same: a code to enter, which is applied to your basket. Nothing more.

Redeem your code, step by step

  1. 1

    Prepare your code

Have the gift card or voucher code ready. It appears on the support received (e-mail, physical card, proof). Copy it without spaces or mistakes.

  2. 2

    Advance to the payment stage

Add your tickets to the basket and progress to the screen where your order is summarized and the total to be paid.

  3. 3

    Locate the “code” field

Look for a field labeled "gift card", "voucher", "promo code" or "discount code", often near the total summary.

  4. 4

    Enter then validate the code

Enter the code exactly as it was provided to you, then click "Apply." The total updates before your eyes.

  5. 5

    Check the new total

Check that the reduction or the amount on the card has been deducted, and see if there is a balance remaining to be paid by another means.

  6. 6

    Finalize the order

Pay any remaining balance by card or other means, then confirm. Your confirmation will include the details, including the code.

Things to check before entering a code

  • The code is entered 'T0' without space 'T1' and without confusing 'T2'O'T3' and 'T4'0'T5', or 'T6'I'T7' and 'T8'1'T9'.
  • The 'T0' validity date 'T1' has not passed: a card or voucher may expire.
  • The code corresponds to 'T0' this site 'T1': a voucher issued elsewhere will not work here.
  • Any conditions of use (minimum amount, events concerned) are respected.

Keep track, just in case

As with any payment, keep your gift card or voucher, as well as the order confirmation email. These elements include the amount used and any remaining balance. If a question arises later – a balance that seems incorrect, a code to reuse – you will have everything on hand to resolve it without difficulty. A little reflex that saves a lot of back and forth.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I enter the code for my gift card or voucher?
At the payment stage, in a field labeled “gift card”, “voucher” or “promo code”, generally located near the total summary. Enter the code, validate, and the amount is immediately applied to your order.
Can I combine a gift card with my bank card?
Yes, very often: if the gift card does not cover the entire amount, the remainder to be paid is paid using another means, such as your bank card. The site tells you the balance to be paid after applying the code.
My code is refused, what should I do?
Re-enter it slowly, without spaces, paying attention to the O/0 and I/1. Then check its expiry date and that it is indeed intended for this site. If it remains refused even though everything is correct, keep your proof and contact customer service.
What happens to the balance if my gift card is worth more than my order?
In general, the remaining balance remains available on the card for a future purchase, according to the site's conditions. Keep the support and your order confirmation: they indicate the amount used and what you have left.
